Dying Computer

Firstly, please don't worry, I am pushing myself to eat something, I'm just finding it a mental struggle. It will pass, it's just an old coping mechanism rearing its ugly head.

Secondly, over the last month my computer has been randomly shutting down, well this morning it took me 3 hours to get it to stay working for any length of time. Tomorrow it will be going to the computer hospital to see if it can be fixed, if it can't, then I will be getting a laptop.

Consequently I will be offline for a few days, I shouldn't imagine it will be anymore than 4 or 5.

Take care lovelies, I'll catch up with you soon.

Where I don't make sense.... again.

Oh lordy, will you look at that, nearly a weeks disappearance. You may have thunk I had died in some respiratory, snot drowned misery, but I didn't see. Instead I died whilst wallowing in self pity without arm bands, but it's ok, cos I was not alone, a strong team on Mother, Father and Brother meant we came home with the gold, but seriously, my family has one mass depression vigil going on, or maybe we all to competitive with each other.

I also may be a traitor and been whoaring myself on Xanga and YouTube cos Blogger is so last season yo.

So yeah, this last week I have had to endure a mother that cries openly in a semi crowded public house, it was on that day that I discovered I do not fit into a shot glass. Also, a father who is so angry and growly and fe fi fo thumb I smell the blood of ..........absolutely any bastard that stands withing ten feet of me, plus a brother who is trying to decide which utility company he will mail the head of his ex wife too. Me? I have kind of stopped eating, well not entirely. I never thought the day would again arise when I have to fight with myself to swallow, (that's food by the way, although the other also applies *gag*). But it won't last, no, for that would be very silly and stupid of me, and I would need a good slap, which I don't want, cos slapping is bad and mean.

I really am rather rambly, ramble, rambly, rimble ramble. Yeah, whatever, I think I should go now, I need to mop the kitchen floor with next door's hamster.

I'm not related, nope, not me.

Two of many reasons why my mum is a sandwich short of a picnic.

"That movie review programme is on, come quick, he's interviewing Will Smith. Isn't he the guy that's in the movie that you were reading reviews about? You should listen, it might say if it's any good or not. Oh but then he's not going to diss it if he's in it!"

She's sixty one for god's sake. Yo.

"Hey Jilly, Nadal and Andy Murray are playing tennis on BBC 2, turn over, you have to watch it, Nadal has such a gorgeous tight arse"

And again...... she's sixty one for god's sake!

I heart coffee

This infection is definitely back. Tight chest, rasping breath, persistent cough, ear nose and throat pain. This time I won't stop blogging, unless I end up in hospital again of course, so I apologise now for the upcoming entries that may be a little more mundane than usual. Writing material is hard to find when you are sat in your pj's all day.

I'm obviously going to need a little more than antibiotics to get rid of this, what else they can do I do not know, knocking me out for a couple of weeks until all is well again sounds appealing, but then you would be deprived of my self centred whinging, heh.

Three small things today, each of which equally the highlight of my day, yes it's that bad.

1. This makes me ashamed to be British, actually scrap that, I've been ashamed to be British for years now. I hope Jade Goody gets spat on in the street, that may sound extreme, but she is, quite frankly, pure scum.

2. Coldwarkids WILL be the next big thing. Mark my words, you will look back at the end of this year and think, by jove, she was right.

3. Dooce put this link up on her blog last week. Ppffftt, I can do that..........

I'm a legal alien

It was lovely to see Thursday again today, to drink copious amounts of coffee and catch up on all the gossip, which was abundant I might add.

Shame it had to be cut shorter than I would have liked due to the fact that...........

I FEEL FUCKING ILL AGAIN!

Seriously, all this is just taking the proverbial somewhat.

I'm beginning to wonder if peeling and chomping on chewing gum from the pavement at 6 years old because I was forbidden to buy it, might be coming back to bite me in the arse, either that or the huge amount of pony nuts I enjoyed eating gave me some kind of giant intestinal snake. Either way, something about my immune system is seriously flawed.

We have lift off

I'm finally feeling much more like my old self, which is such a relief.

I went out on Saturday night for the first time in a month to see Acopalypto, I have not enjoyed a film so much in quite a while. None stop action and gore, with a tint of emotional disturbance thrown in, just what the doctor ordered. I would calculated that the other three girls saw no more than 20 minutes in total, the rest was spent fixated on the floor or the palm of their hands, whilst I sat with a huge grin on my face squealing with pleasure as yet another head was chopped off or another heart ripped from a chest. Smashing stuff.

Nothing has changed on the neighbours from hell front. Their end of contract date has been and gone and they are now squatting. I can't say I am surprised, but strangely enough, knowing that they have no right to be there has enabled my conscience to keep quiet when I stomp around during my insomnia stints or decide to put the washing machine on at a ridiculously unsociable hour.

My next outing into the big wide world will be on Wednesday, when I will meet Thursday at the infamous Starbucks. Only then will I truly feel whole again.

You were fifteen and I was twelve

Material is rather scarce on the blogging front as I have been hibernating of late, which, rather worryingly, I'm becoming a little too accustomed too. Sleeping, bathing, changing of pajamas, drinking tea and attempting the crossword have never been so enjoyable, I'm really not feeling the need for anything more.

Of course someone had to ruin the tranquillity by 'dropping in' for a mere five hours, subjecting me to 'Countdown of the 100 top tracks of the 80's' on one of the far too many music video channels, followed by childish antics with cotton buds, whilst expecting me to drink cups of tea that resemble tomato soup.

I'm not sure if her goal was to cheer me up and help along a speedy recovery, if it was then it failed miserably, all I gained from the visit was a furry and orange tinted tongue, thirty eight less cotton buds and Sister Sledge's 'Frankie' on brain repeat.

I shall not allow myself to be disturbed tomorrow evening, there is a new series of 'Waking The Dead' on at nine and anyone that vaguely knows me wouldn't even contemplate competing with Trevor Eve, especially in his detective mac.

You make me drink shit tea, I ridicule you on the Internet.

Don't even THINK about saying it

Hello wondrous internet.

I've had a brief hospital stay. Turns out I have pneumonia, which doesn't mixed well with asthma, apparently.

I came home to a barrage of panic emails from internet friends, unfortunately the admission happened rather suddenly and I didn't have a chance to let anyone online know. Sorry if I worried you, but I'm glad I did cos damn, I would have been so pissed off if no-one had noticed!

Also, Matilda went to guinea pig heaven last week. If you could take a minute out of your day in her honour to squeak in a rodent like manner whilst eating a carrot I would be eternally grateful. Thank you.

What I am now most looking forward too is headbutting the first person to ask me if I had a good Christmas and Happy New Year. Don't think online people don't count, I have a car, access to an airport, a very hard head and terrific neck muscles. I hope yours was good though, honest.

That's a wrap.
