Official Notice of Volcanic Unrest
The lava dome in the center of now famous 'Mount Jilly Spot' volcanic crater has been determined to have bulged between 5 - 10 mm, indicating an increase in pressure below the surface. UK scientists describe "intense deformation" of the dome. They have determined that magma appears to be very close to, or at the surface. A constant throbbing tremor occurred overnight, and seismic activity continues with spreading inflammation occurring at the rate of several pores per minute.
Local areas have been evacuated accordingly and the armed forces are on standby.
'Mount Jilly Spot' still remains at "imminent eruption" level.
